☕💜 Thank You! 💜☕

Thank you to everyone who came to our Biggest Morning Tea hosted by the Saturday Social and Cooking Creations crew!

We had a wonderful morning filled with good food, great company, and fun. It was lovely to see so many people come together to support a great cause.

Thank you to everyone who donated, baked, set up, and joined us on the day. Your support made the event a big success. Wavlink will be hosting another Biggest Morning Tea on Tuesday 23 June.

We are proud to be part of such a caring community. 💛

Our talented artists in Clay Couture have been busy creating some amazing ceramic pieces!

Clay Couture is more than just ceramics — it’s a space to learn new skills, express ideas, build confidence and have fun together in a supportive community. 💜

We love seeing everyone’s personalities shine through their artwork and watching skills grow each week. Well done to all of our wonderful artists! 👏

💜 Help Shape Wavlink’s New Participant Handbook 💜

We’re updating our Participant Handbook and we’d love our community to be part of it!

The handbook is one of the most important documents at Wavlink. It explains everything participants and their support networks need to know about being part of our community — from enrolment and goal setting, to rights, safety, feedback, fees, and how we make decisions together.

We’ve completed a full review against the NDIS Practice Standards to make sure the handbook is clear, current, and reflects the welcoming and inclusive service we’re proud to provide.

To help make the handbook accessible to everyone, we’ve also created:
✨ An Easy English version
✨ A Simple English version

This week we began consulting directly with participants, and we’d love families, carers, support coordinators, and community members to join the conversation too.

📣 We’d love your feedback!
Is anything unclear? Is there something missing? Is there anything you’d like to discuss? Even a quick “looks good to us” is really helpful and appreciated.

📧 Email: [email protected]
📞 Phone: (03) 9561 7104
📬 Post: 36 Myrtle St, Glen Waverley VIC 3150

🗓 Feedback closes Monday 11 May 2026 however please feel free to call or email Jo Silver, Manager, up until close of business on 15 May 2026.

Once consultation is complete, we’ll review all feedback, finalise the handbook, present it to the Board for approval, and share a summary of what changed and why.

To request a copy of any version of the handbook, send us a message or get in touch.

Thank you for helping make Wavlink a stronger, more inclusive community for everyone. 🌟
