We have been working on an exciting project for the past few months, and now have an opportunity, thanks to support from the Aboriginal Languages Trust, for our mob to be paid to learn our language and act in an animated film we are making.
If you are a Ngarabul or Yugambul person, or Aboriginal person from another mob living on Ngarabul or Yugambul Country, you can submit an expression of interest to be part of this exciting project.

The 2025 NSW Aboriginal Languages Week theme is ‘Let Our Voices Fly’, which celebrates and honours the ongoing work of Communities speaking and revitalising Aboriginal languages. We're joining the celebration!

We are warmly inviting all Ngarabul & Yugambul people alongside your partners and family to celebrate NSW Aboriginal Languages Week by learning and speaking Language together on Country.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of Language speaking ability.

Dhalan biiban Friends

We had an incredible time at our language camp last weekend! The camp was filled with speaking in language by the campfire, while exploring country and playing games. We did some cultural dancing while our young ones played the didj and clapsticks and had some great yarns.

A heartfelt thank you to Aunty Kerry for the lovely food and the language learners who made time to attend. Your presence made this camp truly special.

We host online Ngarabul and Yugambul language classes for our mob. Please reach out to us if you would like to join; we’d love to have you!

We have recently started a new community-controlled organisation for the survival and revival of Ngarabul & Yugambul language and culture, and we need your help to make it a success!
