Landcare NSW is very excited to share that $10 Million Phase 3 Grants for the NSW Landcare Enabling Program (LEP) have been announced by Minister for Agriculture, Tara Moriarty.

These grants will be administered by Local Land Services and supported by Landcare NSW over the next 12 months, helping Landcare groups deliver practical, community-led environmental projects across the state.

Phase 3 of the LEP will see 22 projects delivered through 11 Landcare region, with each region receiving two grants. The grants align with two key priorities:

1. Innovation and climate adaptation
2. Culturally informed landscape management

Landcare NSW Chair, Steve Bunnell said:

“When governments invest in Landcare, they are investing in people, partnerships, and long-term environmental outcomes. That’s what makes Landcare such a powerful and enduring force across New South Wales.”

NSW Landcare Enabling Program Manager, Jodie Lovell said:

“These grants will give Landcare groups across the state the support they need to expand their work, deliver innovative projects, and create stronger partnerships with Aboriginal communities.

“From improving climate resilience and protecting native species to sharing cultural knowledge and restoring ecosystems, these projects will deliver lasting benefits across entire landscapes.”
