Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we join the global call action under the theme: "Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress".
At Secure Horizons, we see every day how systems can either empower or exclude. Too often, barriers remain from inaccessible services to policies that fail to reflect lived experiences. These gaps are not just inconveniences; they are signals that our societies are still falling short of true inclusion.
Disability inclusion is not charity; it is justice. It means designing systems that respect autonomy, amplify voices, and dismantle structural and attitudinal barriers. Progress cannot be measured without the full participation of people with disabilities in education, employment, health, and community life.
