A big thank you to everyone who attended the PCCC Connected Beginnings and GRAICCHS Growing Deadly Families Pop Up Playgroup! We had an amazing time filled with fun activities, delicious food, and great company. Your participation made the event truly special.

A special shoutout to Woolworths Kirkwood for their generous donation of fresh fruit, which added a healthy touch to our BBQ lunch.

Get ready for a day of family fun at the First Nations Playgroup! 🌟

Join us on June 20th, 2024, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Marina Parklands. Kids will love interacting with adorable animals at the petting zoo and bouncing around on the jumping castle. Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch and engage in fun games for everyone.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that the Centre for Rural & Regional Aboriginal & Torres Strait Health (CRRIH) has been awarded a grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Queensland to acquire TWO new vehicles! 🚗✨ Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you! 🙏

This Queensland Government funding initiative will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to provide health services to communities we proudly serve in rural and remote areas of Queensland 🌏 The addition of these vehicles will not only bolster the efficiency of our operations but will also elevate the impact of our Tucka-Time program throughout the state.

Tucka time Manager, Melena McKeown and Program Facilitator, Sharon Ward, are proudly pictured with their new Isuzu MUX and Haval Jolion vehicles. 📸 Both women are now ready to hit the road safely and in comfort 🚗✨.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Queensland Government Gambling and Community Benefit Fund for their invaluable support in making this possible. 🙏 Stay tuned for the positive impact these new vehicles will bring to our organisation and the communities we engage with 🚀👏

Tucka-Time ended with a bang!

The last day of the 10-week program was filled with excitement as participants worked on their own platters and enjoyed learning new recipes. 👨‍🍳

Kara from Savour Marina Gladstone and Alexis, our Toowoomba Tuck-Time Facilitator, taught the groups some quick & easy dishes that can be made on your own or as part of an even more impressive picnic spread!
