Another fundraiser done and dusted.

The Kidney Support Network and the Gladstone Renal Unit would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to all the volunteers from MACE Australia - Central Queensland Chapter Inc. for putting on another amazing Show & Shine this year.

The event raised a whopping $18,000 for the Gladstone Renal Unit. The money raised will be put towards much needed equipment for the unit.

We would like to thank The Rocky Glen Hotel Motel for allowing the event to be held in their carpark, Butler’s Custom Creations for the amazing trophies, 7 Whales for the live entertainment, Harbour City Auto Club Inc. for their cash donation, Curtis Coast Cruisers Car Club, Happy Faces - Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos by Maria and The Gift of the Gab Photography for the all the photo's (Link to photo gallery at the bottom of the page).

The Kidney Support Network / Gladstone Renal Unit Show & Shine at the RG's Carpark in Gladstone, with special thanks going to MACE Australia CQ Chapter for organising the event.

The event is on Sunday, 31 August 2025 from 10am - 2pm. Anyone who wishes to enter needs to be there between 8am - 9.30am.

If you have nothing to do on the day, why not come down and have a look and support a good cause.

We would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time to assist us with this year's Cent Sale, whether it was helping behind the scenes leading up to the event, helping the day before to setup, assisting on the day or packing up after the event, your assistance was greatly appreciated and without you, we wouldn't of had such a successful day.

We would also like to thank Kedai Food & Coffee, CQ Doghouse and Real Aussie Fruit Icecream for attending on the day and feeding all our Cent Salers and volunteers. It was a pleasure to have you at the event and we hope you were kept busy throughout the day.

We also need to thank everyone who gave us a donation, whether it was from a business or personal. Every little bit helps to make the event a success and without prizes the event wouldn't be able to proceed.

And finally, we would like to thank everyone who attended on the day. We hope you had an eventful day and enjoyed the wide range of prizes we had on offer.

Unfortunately we were so busy with the Cent Sale we forgot to get photo's. If by any chance you did get some photo's on the day, we would love to see them and possibly get a copy.

NEXT EVENT

Our next fundraising event is on 31st August 2025 from 10am - 2pm at RG'S in Gladstone. MACE AUSTRALIA are organising a Show & Shine on behalf of the Kidney Support Network and all money raised will be going to the Gladstone Renal Unit.

If you're looking for something to do on the day, pop on down for a look. If you would like to enter a vehicle, entrant sign on is between 8am - 9.30am on the day.

Just a reminder to anyone who has booked a seat, the Kidney Support Network's Cent Sale is on this Saturday, 19 July.

The event is located at the Philip Street Precinct with doors opening at 11am for a 1pm start.
