Application for Agoonoree 2022 are OPEN! and we need Scouts, Venturers, Rovers & Leaders to join us for a week!
Agoonoree is a week-long camp run by Scouts Queensland during the September School Holidays (17 - 23 September) at BP Park, Samford. Where Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leader host a camp that gives children with special needs from outside of the Scouting Movement the chance to experience Scouting/Guiding alongside Scouts and Guides their own age.

Dreamtilt is constantly giving back to the local community. When you support local, it allows them to support local in return.
Dreamtilt provide our internet at the den for our leaders and youth to access their training. It also allows the districts youth to learn about scouting and different cultures, by talking to other scouts around the world participating in Jamboree of the Air and Jamboree of the Internet every October. Thanks Dreamtilt.

Today is Scout Scarf Day. Are you wearing yours today?

The idea of "Scout Scarf Day" on August 1 is that all active and former scouts are requested to wear their scout scarfs in public to make the "Spirit of Scouting" visible: Once a Scout - Always a Scout!

The date of the event commemorates the very first Scout Camp on Brownsea Island in 1907.

Of course, the scarf is only a symbol but a strong symbol for the scout promise and for our mission to leave the world as a bit better a place than we had found it.

This is going to be an exciting new place for the youth to explore and camp. They can hike it on foot, bike or even horse. Checking out all these cool old train tunnels will be alot of fun. If you are available on the day to help them clean up the area on their working be than don't be afraid to give them a hand.
