Morning all... and to all the Roatary Clubs.

Please find attached the invitation that Anne Maree Matthews put together for our Handover/Changeover for Matt Griffiths 2nd year as our wonderful President.

PDG and RCL 6 - Adele Hughes will be inducting Matt Griffiths Via Team View for the occasion.

Matt will host a lunch for those in Bundaberg, with Daniel Roussounis and the family and Rotarians guests.

Bribie Island Crew, Anne Maree Matthews and Wayne Slattery possibly a lunch somewhere? - Karin and Benji Gold Coast may attend if possible?

Victor Cominos, Craig and Leanne in Emerald and the Gladstone Crew, Bevan Rose; Ros Waters, Jodie Luce and moi - maybe we could meet for lunch at the yacht Club and get a little area we could sit for the Induction!?... let me know and I can make a booking.

Brisbane Crew - Graeme Johnston, hope that you can make it.

Message from Anne Matthews

On 16 December 2025 D9560 Passport Rotary Club made their Annual General Meeting a World’s Greatest Meal. We may be only small in numbers but we are very active in our communities. At our Board meeting which followed the AGM we agreed to donate USD500 to WGM to End Polio.

Contribution to the polio plus fund: US$500.00, transformed into US$1500.00 with the matching of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, funds for 10,714 Polio Vaccines.

Thanks to the Global Nurses and Midwives for awarding the inaugural scholarship in honour of Bill Peacock on Wednesday night. Thanks to our members and former members who managed to attend. Unfortunately our Secretary and Treasurer were not able to join in. The Scolarship was awarded on what would have been Bill’s 80th birthday.
