We are writing to inform you of an important development regarding the Gladstone Region Air Quality Community Group. Since our establishment, our mission has been to develop and maintain air quality awareness within the Gladstone community, facilitating an understanding of its effects on human and environmental health.

After years of successful operation and community engagement, we have decided to conclude our activities in their current form. This decision comes as we explore opportunities to merge our efforts with other environment-related organisations/community groups to continue promoting air quality awareness in a new capacity.

Over the last few years, the appetite for a Community Group dedicated to Gladstone's air quality has seen a decline. We aim to continue the strongest aspects of our Group, such as the Air Quality Tours and School Presentations, however, there does not seem to be a need for a dedicated Community Group anymore.

We will provide further updates as this transition progresses and welcome any questions or feedback you may have during this period.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to improving air quality in our region.

We were proud to be part of this :)
