🧡💙 June Club Dinner Meeting 💙🧡

Our monthly Club Dinner Meeting was held this week, and it was another wonderful evening of connection, learning and planning for the months ahead.

A special thank you to Sandra Pugh from ROC Incorporated (Rare Ovarian Cancer Incorporated) for joining us as our guest speaker. Sandra shared valuable insights into rare ovarian cancers and spoke about the upcoming Ride for Research, which aims to raise awareness and vital funds for research 💙 Thank you, Sandra, for sharing the story and helping us better understand this cause.

We were also delighted to officially welcome our newest member, Cathy O’Driscoll, to the Club 🧡 We are so excited to have you join us and look forward to working alongside you as we continue building a better world for women and girls.

🎉 Congratulations to Heidi, who is celebrating 16 years of Zonta membership. Thank you for your dedication and service over so many years.

🎂 Happy Birthday Month to Robyn and Melissa – we hope you’ve both enjoyed your special celebrations!

The evening also included updates and motions in preparation for the upcoming Zonta International Convention next month, along with discussions and early planning for some exciting fundraising and community events coming up over the next few months. As always, thank you to Harvey Road tavern for hosting us.

It despenses FREE period products to anyone who needs them 🫶
You can find it at the Maxine Brushe Community Meeting Place, Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct. Access to this vending machine is between 6am- 10pm

🌍Just wrapped up an amazing Gladstone Regional Council EcoFest with the inspiring theme “Small Changes, Big Impact”🌏
✋It was incredible to see our community come together, with our Zonta activity of sharing hands-on ideas for a healthier region✋

♻️At our Zonta display, we showcased simple yet effective actions everyone can take to make a real difference—because every little effort counts…From sustainable practices to eco-friendly habits, together we can create a brighter, greener future♻️
