Have you heard of a supply line? Perhaps it's been called a supplemental nursing system? They are a fantastic option if your baby needs top-ups as they protect your breastmilk supply and reduce the need for bottles, which can cause confusion at the breast.

Perhaps you'd like to add booking in for our upcoming Breastfeeding Education Class - BOOKINGS NOW OPEN! to be held on August 1 2026. Preparing for breastfeeding is so valuable and our local, qualified volunteers are looking forward to seeing you at the class!

Every breastfeeding journey is different, but a little preparation can go a long way.

From keeping a water bottle nearby to having trusted support contacts on hand, the small things can make those early days feel a little easier.

One thing we'd add to every breastfeeding checklist? 💜 Kindness for yourself. Breastfeeding is a skill that both you and your baby learn together, and it's okay if it takes time.
