Geraldton Harriers Club Inc We are a family friendly running and walking club with events in and around Geraldton All runners and walkers regardless of ability are welcome to attend.

Geraldton Harriers is a community club providing a fun and sociable environment to promote health and fitness. We organise walking and running events in and around Geraldton, Western Australia. The event locations include the town, Champion Bay, the Moresby Ranges, rural farm/homestead settings, and riverside venues. We offer courses suitable for all ages and abilities ranging from 2kms up to 21km

s. Most courses are pram friendly so the whole family can join in. Junior participation is encouraged whether it be walk, cycle, or run at their own level of fitness and ability. The weekly event locations are listed in the Events page. The Harriers season runs from April to September. Our events begin at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings. We always welcome new faces.

Well we made it to the last Championship race of the season!! For those doing the long course please remember its the 18km this week for the long points, and an 8:30 start for long runners. As usual short is 6km and junior is 2km.
A tough but rewarding trail run that’s sure to test your legs.

Please note this is a change to the advertised time table as Echidna park are unable to host us this weekend. We should be on for Echidna park next weekend for the final championship race of the season.
We will meet in front of the surf club at back beach Wilcock drive for a repeat of the run done a few weeks again. heading first towards Separation point, then heading back towards Glendinning road.

Back to our informal home of Spalding park. Mixed surface, some gravel some path but all fun!!!! The 12km course loops right back to the start line for the second lap.
Weather is looking great this weekend. Hope all that did Backroads last weekend have dried out and cleaned the mud off, I know my white running shoes may never be white again!!

This is an all new route on a favorite farm. Massive thank you to Wade who has spent a lot of time clearing the course for us. Should be a lot of fun.

Its a special week this week. Its the third championship race of the season and its a memorial run for former Harriers champion Kerry May.
Those who knew Kerry as a person or ever raced against her knew she was a force a nature. She battled cancer for over ten years with the same determination with which she approached life. So when your legs are tired and you lungs are screaming this weekend, remember the grit Kerry had and dig in!!!
