Did you know that Sheridan Bear is the official mascot of Variety - the Children's Charity.
Back in 1927, a group of theater owners in Pittsburgh heard a baby crying at the Sheridan Square Theatre. They found a one-month-old baby girl left behind with a note asking them to care for her. The men named her Catherine Variety Sheridan and raised funds for her upbringing, which inspired them to create the global children's charity - Variety ❤️

Every Wednesday Sheridan Bear will be out and about in our local community.
We will post a photo of where Sheridan has been and comment below the photo if you recognise the business.

The Starkick All Abilities season has concluded for another year.
Starkick is a multi award-winning all-abilities football program supporting children 5 to 17 years of age, with modified rules and activities.
Sunday 9th August, some local football fans had the opportunity to attend the West Coast Eagles/Collingwood game and took the field at half time, like many other children have done before them.
There were many smiles, giggles, and cheers.
Jayden Schofield, and the team involved in Starkick All Abilities Geraldton are amazing, and run a very informative, inclusive program.
