🌧️✨ Motivation Monday ✨🌧️

There’s something beautiful about watching the rain fall. 🌧️🤍

What may seem like gloomy weather is actually one of Allah’s beautiful blessings — bringing life to the earth, filling our rivers, nourishing our crops and reminding us of His mercy.

Allah says:

“And We sent down from the sky rain charged with blessing, and We produced with it gardens and grains for harvest.”
(Qur’an 50:9)

So as the rain falls, take a moment to say Alhamdulillah. 🤲

May Allah make this rain beneficial, bring barakah to our homes and community and remind us to appreciate the countless blessings He gives us each day.

✨ Motivation Monday ✨

As we continue through the month of Safar, let it be a reminder that every new day is an opportunity to strengthen our faith, renew our intentions and place our trust in Allah. 🤍

During this time, we remember the remarkable journey of the Hijrah, as the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr (RA) travelled from Makkah to Madinah with complete faith in Allah's promise and protection. Their journey teaches us that even in times of uncertainty, Allah is always with those who place their trust in Him.

Allah says:

"Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good." (Qur'an 16:128)

As we begin this new week, let us move forward with patience, gratitude and unwavering trust in Allah. Every step taken for His sake is a step towards His mercy.

May Allah bless your week, strengthen your iman, and grant you ease in all your affairs. Ameen. 🤍🌿

🌙 1 Muharram 1448H – A New Islamic Year Begins 🌙

Alhamdulillah, our community gathered to welcome the blessed month of Muharram and the beginning of a new Islamic year.

We were honoured to host our special guest, Brother Osama Mah from Perth, a scholar based at Swan Valley Mosque. Brother Osama shared his inspiring journey as a Chinese Muslim, reflecting on his experiences embracing Islam and comparing the beautiful aspects of culture and faith. His words reminded us that while our backgrounds may differ, Islam unites us as one Ummah.

A key message from the evening was the importance of gratitude — appreciating the countless blessings Allah ﷻ has bestowed upon us — and the need to continue supporting and caring for one another as a community.

As we enter this new year, let us reflect on the past, renew our intentions, strengthen our connection with Allah ﷻ, and work together to build a stronger, more compassionate community.

May Allah ﷻ bless us all with a year filled with faith, guidance, unity, and barakah. Ameen.

✨ Motivation Monday – Eid Al Adha Edition ✨

As we prepare for Eid Al Adha, let us remember the beautiful lessons of sacrifice, obedience and trust in Allah 🤍🌙

Eid Al Adha reminds us that when we put Allah first, He opens doors we never imagined.

Allah says:
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)

Whatever you are facing this week, place your trust in Allah, continue your efforts and know that your sacrifices are never unseen. 🌿

A gentle reminder that Eid Al Adha prayers will be held this Wednesday, the 27th of May, with prayers commencing at 8:15am. Please arrive early and be mindful of parking and surrounding residents. 🤍

🕌 Cemetery Visit Notice – Eid Al-Adha 🕌

For those planning to visit the cemetery on Eid Al-Adha Day, please be advised that the section of road leading to the cemetery will be closed.

We kindly ask everyone to plan ahead, follow any traffic directions in place, and allow extra time when travelling.

📢 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

On Monday 25 May 2026 Stage Two of the Flores and Eastward Roads Roundabout Project will begin and take approximately six weeks to complete.

🚧 During this time the Eastward Road and Alexander Street intersection will be closed to traffic with detours in place. Flores Road will remain open to traffic traveling in both directions.

Access to the Geraldton Cemetery and Utakarra Ball Park will not be affected. P.S. Chester and Son, Geraldton Rovers Soccer Club and the Utakarra residential area between the cemetery and Edward Road will be accessible via a detour from Edward Road.

Reconfiguring the two T-intersections into a four-leg roundabout will significantly improve safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

🌙🕌 Eid Al-Adha Prayer Reminder 🕌🌙

Eid Al-Adha prayers will commence at 8:15am on Wednesday the 27th of May.

Please keep in mind that this falls on a weekday, meaning school and work traffic will be active during this time. We kindly ask everyone to please be mindful and considerate when parking.

🚫 Please do not park in the daycare carpark/facility.
🚸 The area will be a 40km/h school zone, so please slow down and take extra care, especially around parents dropping off their children at the school and daycare.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping make the morning safe and respectful for all members of the community.

🕌 Alhamdulillah, Let’s Keep It Going 🕌

We are so happy to see more people attending the masjid lately — especially our younger Muslims 🤍 It truly brings life, energy, and barakah back into our community.

But this is not the time to slow down… this is the time to keep going.

Keep showing up.
Keep filling the rows.
And most importantly — invite others to join you.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like the one who does it." (Muslim)

SubhanAllah — imagine bringing a friend to the masjid, and every prayer they make, every sajdah they do… you share in that reward without it decreasing from them.

This is your فرصة (opportunity):
🤝 Invite your friends
👨‍👩‍👧 Bring your family
💪 Heading to or from the gym? Stop by together for salah
💙 Encourage one another for the sake of Allah
