To all the families waiting for news of their loved ones, we hope you have news soon. To those who have lost family and friends we offer our deepest condolences. Congratulations to the Geraldton Refugee Support Group who celebrated 12 months of support for a family on Saturday 15 August.

Friends and supporters gathered for a delicious bring and share meal and to hear of the success of providing support for the family who are embracing life in Australia.

Members of the support group all spoke of receiving more from the refugee family than they could have imagined and now have an extended family to enjoy.
