Centacare Family Services was established in 1986 by the Bishop of Geraldton. Aware of the fundamental dignity of the person, Centacare acts as the official welfare arm of the Church in the Diocese of Geraldton by providing professional, pastoral and community care to families and individuals. The goal for Centacare from its beginning is to provide to the community a holistic family welfare servic

e. The professional goal is to utilize the knowledge and skills from the behavioural sciences applied to the human condition as a healing and growth process. Thus, family relationship and community services are provided within one diverse, flexible organisation.

🎉Celebrating 40 years🎉

For forty years, our journey has taken us far beyond our office walls — travelling highways, gravel roads and remote tracks to reach communities far and wide. Across the decades, we have travelled countless kilometres, taking our services, support and a helping hand beyond our own doorstep to communities across the region.

Through cyclones, fires, drought and other times of hardship, we have continued to show up, listen, support and help where we could.

Every road travelled has represented a person reached and a community supported. For forty years, we have been proud to go the extra mile for our community.
