Cost Of Doing Business 2026 – free online webinar series
Ongoing global disruptions and rising costs continue to create challenges for Tasmanian businesses. To help business owners respond with confidence, Business Tasmania, in partnership with the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is delivering the Cost Of Doing Business 2026 online webinar series.
The six‑part series brings together experienced business advisors to provide practical guidance on starting a business, workplace culture, tax and insurance, leasing a premises, managing emerging risk, and pricing. Sessions are designed to support informed decision‑making and long‑term business sustainability.

Upcoming webinars: Managing fuel cost impacts – support for hospitality businesses
To support Tasmania’s hospitality sector in managing the impact of increased fuel costs, Business Tasmania, in partnership with Hospitality Tasmania, is delivering free online information sessions focused on practical guidance for understanding and managing fuel cost impacts.
The sessions will be led by Warren Moore from Braddon Business Centre, who delivers the Tasmanian Government’s New Business Support Service and Tasmanian Business Advice Service. Warren will walk through practical revenue and cost scenarios to help hospitality businesses identify where fuel costs are having the greatest impact and explore options to respond.
Kelly Brown, Manager of the Business Tasmania service, will also outline the personalised assistance, information and Tasmanian Government programs available to support hospitality businesses during this period of cost volatility.
