Only a month left to knit a hot water bottle cover to send to Ukraine!
Even one will help someone without heating this winter.

We're had a special request from Good Neighbours Australia for hot water bottle covers to be included in their next shipment to Ukraine. An insulated hot water bottle can keep someone warm for 6-8 hours, which is really helpful when heating options are limited during the cold winter.

The requirements are:
• They should fit hot water bottles that are 32-33cm tall (including neck), 18-18.5cm wide and up to 4.5cm thick when full.
• Any fibre type can be used.
• They can be knitted, crocheted or sewn.

Hot water bottle covers to go in this year's shipment will need to be received in Melbourne by 15 October 2026. They can be posted to:
