Honorary Secretary – Gembrook RSL Sub Branch

Volunteer Position – Community, Service, and Legacy

The Gembrook RSL Sub Branch is seeking a dedicated and community minded Honorary Secretary to join our Executive Committee. This is a vital role that helps keep our Sub Branch running smoothly and ensures we continue supporting veterans, their families, and the wider Gembrook community.

What the Role Involves

Managing correspondence, emails, and official records

Preparing agendas and minutes for monthly committee meetings

Supporting the President and Executive with administrative tasks

Helping coordinate events, commemorations, and community activities
Ensuring compliance with RSL Victoria requirements

Being a welcoming point of contact for members and community groups

What We’re Looking For

Strong organizational and communication skills
Reliability, integrity, and a collaborative spirit
Basic computer skills (email, document handling)
A genuine interest in supporting veterans and community service
No prior RSL experience required — training and support provided
