We lost Gracie 😓
Hi to everyone following little Gracie’s story. I am sorry I have been silent for a few days.
I gave my all to trying to save Gracie.
She was on antibiotics and pain relief and she slept by the fire on a big cosy dog bed.
Sadly by the time I got her she was very, very ill.
After a few days I could see her deteriorating and I had to have her put to sleep.
It is a common problem for me when animals are surrendered too late. Had she seen a vet when she first became ill her prognosis would have been brighter.
Gracie had a racing infection which entered her body through her umbilical cord. The infection was in her joints and even her eyes.
I am sorry to have to share such sad news. Thankyou to everyone who loved Gracie and followed her on our page. Emma🩵xx
