Lighting up City Hall for Nepal🇳🇵

We’re continuing to stand with our Nepalese community in Greater Geelong and everyone affected by the devastating floods and landslides in Nepal.

From tonight until Sunday, City Hall will be illuminated with the Nepalese flag from dusk until 10.30pm each evening.

A small gesture of solidarity, support and remembrance for those impacted during this incredibly difficult time.

Standing with Nepal

Our thoughts are with the people of Nepal and everyone affected by the devastating floods and landslides, including the many people still waiting for news of loved ones.

We’re standing by our local and broader Nepalese community here in Greater Geelong during this incredibly difficult time.

Over the weekend, we lit the catenary lights and Moorabool Street lights in the colours of the Nepalese flag. They’ll continue throughout this week.

Nepali Pathashala Geelong stands in solidarity with the Geelong Nepalese Association Inc. and the wider Nepali community during this deeply painful and difficult time.

We encourage our Pathashala families, students, friends and community members to come together and attend the Candlelight Vigil to remember and honour those affected by the devastating flooding and to stand in solidarity with the families and loved ones who are still waiting for news of those missing.

Dear Parents and Family,

In light of the recent natural calamity in Nepal and the heartbreaking impact it has had on many families, Nepali Pathashala Geelong (NPG) will be closed on Saturday 29th August, and our regular class will not be running.

We would like to stand in solidarity with all those affected and extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the families of those who have lost their lives, as well as to those who are still missing. During this difficult time, we hold hope in our hearts for everyone awaiting news of their loved ones.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with all the families and communities impacted by this tragedy. 🇳🇵

नेपालमा अविरल वर्षा र बाढीका कारण भएको जनधनको अपूरणीय क्षतिले हामीलाई अत्यन्त मर्माहत बनाएको छ।

नेपालमा आएको विनाशकारी बाढीका कारण ज्यान गुमाउनेहरूप्रति हार्दिक श्रद्धाञ्जली र पीडित परिवारजनमा गहिरो समवेदना व्यक्त गर्दछौं।
