We are super thrilled to be hosting Leonard Training Pty Ltd for public first aid training!

Leonard Training initially started the company with community at their heart and believe everyone should have the skills and confidence to act in an emergency.

The first few minutes before an ambulance arrives are often in the hands of whoever is there. Leonard Training is passionate about supporting everyday people to have access to learn first aid skills.

Leonard Training can also tailor training needs depending on the required skill sets, including unaccredited training sessions for our younger community members.

To book or find out more, please scan the QR code on the flyer or access their bookings page via the following link: https://leonardtraining.trainingdesk.com.au/enrol

If you require alternative dates, times or classes; please don't hesitate to reach out with your requirements.

Leonard Training would love to help more people in our community feel ready to respond in emergencies, so please use the discount code "COMMUNITY26" for a discount on courses.

Our youth have been just as busy growing as our grass:

Joeys learnt about a range of codes and signals including semaphore flags, Morse code, trail signs, international ground to air signals.

Cubs completed a Morse code challenge.

A couple of Scouts completed their personal development course.

Venturers built possum dreys for our visiting friend!

Look at our grass!

After the new build, we had dirt. Now look at it - from the first little sprouts to needing its first big kid mow!

Many thanks to Jim's Mowing - Herne Hill East for taking over our mowing!

Tonight at Joey Scouts:

Kookaburra has flown away to get ready for her chick to hatch.

Meanwhile, the Joeys are still on survival island and worked out what to do if they accidentally set something (or someone!) on fire, how to light a match and prepared live sustaining sustenance (smores of course!).

Next week, they are learning why it's not a great idea to p**p near their campsite or water source and are visiting the fART museum.

Would anyone else like to come with us?
