Today on International Bereaved Mother's Day, Hope Bereavement Care, recognises all women who have lost their dream to become a mother, experienced miscarriage, still birth or the death of a child of any age.
On Bereaved Mother's Day, we come together to acknowledge our connection, our babies and children and our hope for the future. It is a day for us to take some time out to remember our child, by lighting a candle or visiting a special place. Above all be gentle with yourself.
It is also a day to be sensitive to or acknowledge friends and family members who have lost a child or lost the dream of becoming a mother.

NO COST ACCOMODATION FOR PARENTS GRIEVING THE LOSS OF A CHILD

Forever Held offers short stay retreat accommodation to parents who are grieving the loss of a child. Built in natural surrounds, the retreat offers grieving parents a place of refuge and rest.

Our charity was founded to help parents grieve the loss of a child by offering a short stay at our retreat at no cost. Our goal is to make space for your grief.

PODCAST HIGHLIGHT

In this episode of The Imperfects Dr Emily walks you through how grief impacts the brain on a neurological level, and unpacks it's unpredictable, non-linear path. She explains how to learn to ride the ongoing waves of grief rather than expecting them to disappear.

Going into the difference between grief and grieving, Dr Emily reminds us the importance of turning towards the pain.
