Be Brave Enough to be seen as you really are.
Every Heart’s Cry is to be fully seen, fully known and fully loved. If you don’t show up fully, others don’t have the opportunity to love you fully, and your hearts desire is never able to be met.
What about rejection? What if I’m not chosen? . Well, the truth is you can’t have love without risking rejection.
At times you will seem to be chosen, and later discarded, other times you won’t be chosen at all, and you’ll be rejected…BUT only by the wrong ones, who are not meant for you.
Rejection is an inevitable part of life in a fallen world. I’m not gonna lie, some experiences will be excruciating.
But the right ones? They are golden. They’ll want to hear everything, your nightmares and your wildest dreams, and they will want to dream with you and see you win! …and you them.
The right ones will love you at your best, and your worst. The real ones aren’t fair-weather friends.
They will carefront you to your face in love, they will not sit back and watch you make bad decisions or self destruct down the wrong path…even if it means them being in the bad books, because its not the truth you want to hear momentarily. And they still won’t run away.
They will love you loud, and defend your name fiercely, whether you’re in the room or not and their loyalty will not be divided. They will always choose you.
You will not be a project, or an opportunity, a placeholder, a fallback or a plan B, and nor should they be.
They will give love and receive love and always protect your freedom, and you will do the same for them, because if its not reciprocal, its not relationship.
Being truly seen as you really are means having your freedom honored, love is never controlling and it doesn’t manipulate.
By all means, be wise in the word and guard your heart, and do your best not to cast your pearls before swine. Pay attention to the red flags, especially when you desperately want to ignore them, in order to rescue or heal someone. Do your due diligence. Pray and let God bring the real ones, and reveal the fake ones.
Then, if God honestly shows you someone safe (not perfect) take the risk. Be Brave Enough to be seen as you really are. Allow yourself to be fully seen, fully known and fully loved. Because the right ones will fight for you, and you will find grace and redemption there, because Jesus is in it.
Precious old friends are built from history, but a rare divine friend is gifted suddenly, for destiny.
When all is said and done,
The right ones will stay 💖 And Jesus never leaves.
