We provide respite and personal support with an increased emphasis on promoting community inclusion opportunities and enhancing skill development. Wild Rumpus have a passion for providing innovative forms of respite options in order to supp
ort people with a disability and their families in new and creative ways. We want to look forward and support individuals and families to celebrate successes now and in the future. Wild Rumpus provides various models of support, which have been designed to encourage flexibility and better cater to an individual’s needs and choices. The differing support options are dependent on an individual’s specific needs and their suitability to be supported by different models. We provide services on a 1:1 and short-term intensive basis, and also run services which operate at a lower ratio for those looking to develop their social skills. We pride ourselves in being able to provide service for individuals who may have been historically excluded from other respite and support services. Wild Rumpus support staff have a sound knowledge of disability services and have experience supporting a wide range of individuals with varying support needs. Wild Rumpus will work with individuals and families during the initial assessment stage to create respite goals – this not only ensures respite is enjoyable, but also developmentally productive. All staff are dedicated in making the Wild Rumpus experience FUN!!!!!!
