Did you know that your first class with us was free?
Any newcomers to Barwon Academy of Arms and Werribee Academy of Arms get their first class with us free.
This means you get to see what we are about, how we run our classes and if it’s something you would enjoy.
And with us starting Longsword tonight
this might be a great time to swing past and try it out!

*ages 15 up, minor must be accompanied by an adult

2026 Stabby Cup happened over the weekend.

Thank you to all who organised, and helped run the event, as well as those who competed.

For those not familiar with our Stabby cup, there are two events…

The tournament portion of the day which includes the preliminary matches, in which you get points for successful defence if it’s your turn defending.
Then the finals which all successful hits count (yes after blows, no doubles), but golden point must be clean.

And then the real prize fight, the boffer bash.
You are given 3 balloons and a specific length of tape. Now there is rules on placement but essentially you tape the balloons to you and those are now your lives, which start from when you pick up the balloon…
