Celebrate Children’s Week with us and discover how music brings people together, builds connection and creates joy!

💙 Singing for connection, community and change. 💙

This weekend NORTH Children’s Choir performed at Jam for Refugees, raising funds for the Combined Refugee Action Group and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

This is a cause particularly close to our hearts at Bluebird, as more than a quarter of our choir families have made Australia their home as refugees. We are proud to stand alongside our community in supporting a more inclusive, compassionate and welcoming world.

Our Junior and Senior Choirs shared songs full of heart, a little humour and plenty of joy, showcasing what’s possible when talented young people are supported by a dedicated team and given opportunities to learn, grow and shine.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers. Your time, energy and generosity make experiences like this possible. We couldn’t do it without you! 💙

At Bluebird, we believe music brings people together, builds belonging and gives young voices the chance to make a difference.

🎶 This is the power of music. This is NORTH Children's Choir.

💙 Building skills. Strengthening support. Making a difference.

We’re proud to share that our Venue and Workshops Coordinator, Sarah, recently attended Youth Mental Health training, building her knowledge and skills to better support the wellbeing of the young people who participate in Bluebird Foundation programs.

At Bluebird, our Board values investing in our staff, recognising that equipping our team with the right skills, knowledge and confidence benefits not only their own wellbeing, but also the wellbeing of the children, young people and families we support.

By continuing to learn and grow, we strengthen our ability to create inclusive and supportive spaces where young people can connect, build confidence and thrive.

Because when we support our people, they are better equipped to support others. 💙
