On Saturday our superstars Maddy, Montana and Danielle were proudly supporting the Be UnderStood Expo presented by Keeley's Cause. Coinciding on World Mental Health Day, this amazing event highlighted the importance of connection, community and recognising everyone's journey is different. The day was filled with great conversations, positive vibes and genuine connections. A massive thank you to Sharon, Keely and their entire team for hosting such a special event, it was a privilege to be a part of. 💙🩷🩶

Participant spotlight: We have been supporting Des for well over 12 months, as he continues to go from strength to strength. Vicki here is Des's key support worker; always providing consistent, reliable and meaningful supports that promote growth and independence. Des is very hands on and enjoys getting out in the community, some of his favourite things to do include DIY projects, shopping at bunnings, gardening, photography, building planter boxes, meal preparation, cooking, op shopping and recycling. All the while, maintaining ongoing and sustainable employment. It is fair to say Des loves to keep busy and is very independent, which is amazing to see. Des has also developed meaningful friendships through his employment and continues learn and develop new skills each and every day. Working alongside Des is an absolute pleasure, and we are privileged to be playing a small role in his continued success. 💙

Yesterday our be. social program got into the spirit of AFL grand final week with 'Wear your footy colours day'. There were lots of laughs, capacity building, and great conversations about which team will win the grand final. Meet Rylie! Community Support Worker at All in One. Rylie joins our team having previously been in an Education Support role for the last 2 years. Rylie has extensive experience working alongside people with complex behaviours; with a strong focus on implementing trauma informed care approaches and emotional regulation. Rylie is very down to earth, engaging, and has exceptional interpersonal skills, making her welcome addition to our team. Outside of work Rylie enjoys netball, swimming, shopping, listening to music and spending time with her animals. 🩷

Meet Cody! Community Support Worker at All in One. Cody comes to All in One as a professional Barber, having owned and operated his own Barber shop for the last 3 years. Cody also holds a Certificate III in Community Services, Certificate III in Fitness and is currently studying towards a Dual Diploma of Counselling & Community Services. Cody is a welcome addition to our team bringing amazing energy, excellent communication, and has the proven ability to build a quick and genuine rapport with the people he works alongside. Outside of work Cody loves being in nature, painting, drawing, surfing, hiking, music and camping in his spare time. 💙
