Rotary Club of Gawler had the recent privilege to attend on Riverside Salvation Army to unveil the new cool room which our club was able to contribute towards the purchase and installation of. The larger coolroom will increase the output of meals to those in the Gawler community.

To officially open the cool room President Kyle Smith and past President John Lyons were present but a huge shout out goes to past president Mark Smeaton for all of his work and dedication to the project from start to finish.

Good luck Riverside and thank you for your valuable service you give to the community. We should all get behind and support these great people in our community who offer needed services to those who would otherwise go without.

The Rotary Club of Gawler has been able to secure funding for a new AED (defibrillator) to be installed in the Gawler community. This will give locals access to potentially lifesaving equipment. We wish to thank our corporate member Scammell & Co Lawyers for permitting us to install the unit on their Gawler South office and the Bunyip for giving the install of our new unit the publicity it needs. More AED units to come!

What a busy night we had at the Gawler street parade. The crew cooking hot dogs were kept on their toes and sold out.
The elves in the parade had a wonderful time pulling carts of oversized lollipops and presents while waving to all the people.
