Amazing news, we have been accepted into next years Autumn Rally going from Canberra to Townsville via Birdsville!! Bit of a photo dump from the last few days now that we have reception with lots more to follow in the coming days. The car is still going strong despite a slight misshap with ripping the exhaust off when I got a bit carried away throwing the car through a washout on the Oodnadatta track. But some tie wire and tec screws at camp quickly got it back on and no longer sounding like a nascar. BG10 is going well and currently enjoying a beer after a long 733km drive today

Well the pre rally briefing was last night and now the first of many early mornings to come. Getting ready to fire up the sh*tbox and head towards the start line! One important update is that as of last night thanks to some very generous donations in the last 24h, we have gone well past our fundraising target of $10k and are now at $11,001!! What an amazing achievement and a massive thank you to everyone that has made that possible!

Well firstly, we can announce that we have met our fundraising goal and as of this morning have raised $10,258! Thank you so much to everyone who has made this possible and remember its still not too late to donate!

We will be leaving Adelaide this Saturday the 13th and due to some significant road closures; there has been a big change to the rally route. We are having to take a small detour (only 2859km) from the original route and adding another 1176km of driving to make a total drive of 4976km. Our car is about as ready as it can be and we are keen to get on the road for another great year with the Rally Family. Check out the new route in the picture below and follow our journey as we head to WA! Cheers from the Rising Sons
