With such an incredible turnout at Galston500 this year, ride queues got long — and we know some of you waited a while for your turn. Thank you for your patience and understanding, it meant everything on such a huge day.

We're already thinking about how to make next year even better for you.

🎉 WHAT A DAY YESTERDAY WAS! 🎉

We are still completely blown away by the turnout for Galston500 2026 — nearly 1,000 people came through the gates!

To everyone who came along, rode the trains, grabbed a snag, bought some merch, or just cheered on your favourite team — thank you. This community support is exactly why Galston500 exists.

500 laps were completed in just 8 hours 45 minutes — an incredible effort from every team out there.

🎟️ And congratulations to all our raffle winners! Everyone has now been notified by phone or collected their prize onsite. Thank you to East Coast Heritage Rail and all our amazing sponsors for such incredible prizes.

We're taking a well-earned rest today, but we'll get the fundraising total added up and shared with you as soon as we can!
