Last night we joined many at Charis Mullen MP Domestic and Family Violence Remembrance Night ๐Ÿ•ฏ๐Ÿ’œ

Nights like last night matter.

(Using Charis Mullenโ€™s words)
They matter because we remember the lives behind the statistics.

They matter because we stand together and say clearly, that violence has no place in our community.

And they matter because for someone who came last night, this may be the moment they realise they are not alone.

Thank you to the incredible supporters and guest speakers from - Domestic Violence Action Centre, Beyond DV, BLAQ Diamonds Women Empowerment, gawunsupplies, IWA Australia Ltd, Creative Hearts Co., Queensland Police Service and Zonta Ipswich Inc.

It was a beautiful night of remembrance and solidarity, and a meaningful way to mark this Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

If you are needing help, we are all here for you. Please know you are not alone. You matter!
