It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jen Byles.
A beloved member of Patrol 7 - a celebrated Masters athlete and Rookie of the Year in her first season patrolling on Queensie beach. Jen was a light to everyone she knew and brought so much strength and energy to every new challenge. Thoughts are with Jen’s family and friends. Rest in peace Jen.

Enhancing the Q Coaching team this season we are very excited to announce Jack McPhee as our Nipper/Youth Beach Coach.

Jack McPhee is the Founder and Head Coach of Sydney Athletics Academy, bringing extensive experience as a qualified athletics, cross country, and triathlon coach. He has coached over 30 national-level junior athletes to podium performances across Australia and leads athletics and cross country programs at several Sydney schools and clubs. Jack is passionate about developing young athletes and helping them achieve their personal best.

One of Queensie's finest Nathan Krieger is doing the Moloka'i to Oahu paddle on a stand up paddle board. Nathan is a Nipper Dad, a Patrolling Member and competes for the Masters.

The charity he is representing does incredible things and is worth looking at.

He is raising awareness and funds for Surf Conservation, a cause that’s close to he and his wife's hearts. They’re doing incredible work to protect the oceans and coastlines we all love for future generations.

Well done to our Q IRB team members who will be representing NSW in the State team this Wednesday at South West Rocks.
Harry Sole, Leo Shaw, Ellie Halliday, Jessica Way , Emilia Sachs, Gabi Han, Bailey Meikle led by Head Coach Jayson Elkins.
What an achivement. Go the blues and race well.
Also, good luck to the rest of the Q IRB team at Aussie IRB Champs, we are so proud of all of you.
