Vehicle thefts, Cairns district.
Police have charged three teenagers after the alleged theft of several vehicles in Cairns.
It will be alleged a 17-year-old Holloways Beach boy, a 15-year-old Edmonton girl and a 15-year-old Manoora girl were involved in the theft of several vehicles in the Cairns area as well as other offences over the last few days.
The trio were arrested by police at a Westcourt address overnight, December 13.
It will be further alleged when the boy was located by police he was found to be in possession of suspected stolen property and a quantity of dangerous drugs.
The boy has been charged with six counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count each of enter dwelling, stealing, wilful damage, possess suspected stolen property and possess dangerous drugs.
The Edmonton girl has been charged with four counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and two counts of stealing.
The Manoora girl has been charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
All three have been remanded in custody and will appear before Cairns Childrens Court today, December 14.

Dangerous driving, Westcourt
A 19-year-old Westcourt man was charged with several vehicle related offences yesterday, December 15.
It will be alleged at around 8am, December 14 the man was driving a stolen vehicle in a dangerous manner in Lyons St.
It will be further alleged the man was involved in vehicle thefts in the Cairns area over in previous days.
Police also allege the man was in possession of a quantity of methylamphetamine when taken into custody by Police.
The 19-year-old man was charged with three counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, three counts of driving without a licence, and one count each of dangerous operation, possess dangerous drugs and face disguised with intent.
He was remanded to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on 15 Dec
Multiple charges, Cairns area.
Three teenagers were charged after following a string of alleged vehicle thefts and break and enters over the last week.
Officers located the 16-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy in Gordonvale and Cairns yesterday, December 14.
The 16-year-old Edmonton girl was charged with eight counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one count of driving unlicensed.
The 16-year-old Gordonvale boy was charged with three counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, three counts of enter dwelling, three counts of receiving tainted property, three counts of breach of bail and one count each of possess suspected stolen property, stealing and drive unlicensed.
The 13-year-old Holloways Beach boy was charged with five counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and one of attempted entry.
All three are due to face the Cairns Childrens Court at a later date
Wounding offence, Smithfield
Queensland Police have charged a woman following an alleged wounding at Smithfield yesterday evening, December 14.
It will be alleged around 6pm, emergency services were called to a Gurrumbah Street address following reports of a man sustaining multiple stab wounds.
Upon arrival, officers located a 20-year-old Smithfield man who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A 24-year-old Smithfield woman, allegedly known to the man, was taken into custody a short time later on Gurrumbah Link.
She has been charged with one count each of wounding (domestic violence offence), contravention of domestic violence order.
She was refused police bail and is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court today, December 15.
