Free swimming lessons for migrants and refugees are being offered in Perth through “Swim for Refugees,” a volunteer-run program that helps new arrivals build confidence and water-safety skills.

And that’s a wrap on Season 16 💙

What a season it’s been.

To our swim buddies, teachers, activity centre volunteers, participants, and the wider community – thank you for making this season so special. It truly wouldn’t happen without you.

We’ve loved calling Victoria Park Leisure Centre home, and your support as we transition to a new location has meant so much.

There was no better way to finish than one final Saturday of shared food, lessons, laughs and games ☀️

Season 17 is coming in the warmer months 🧡
We can’t wait to do it all again.

LAST DAY OF THE SEASON ☀️ NEW LESSON TIMES

To celebrate our last swim of the season tomorrow we’ll be having a picnic after the lessons. If you’re joining us for the picnic please bring a small plate of food to share.

So we can all enjoy the picnic, we’ll start women’s and men’s lessons slightly earlier. The new times are below 👇

Our schedule ⏰
1:45pm: Vollies arrive for briefing
2:00pm-2:45pm: Kids lessons
2:45pm-3:15pm: Adult lessons
3:15pm onwards: Picnic in activity centre area
