WE WON AN AWARD!! 🏆🥹✨

Last Thursday night, Tattoos for Tails took home our FIRST EVER award at the FCC Business Awards!!

And the best part?! This award was decided by YOU!!

To everyone who nominated us, voted for us, shared our posts and encouraged others to vote, THANK YOU!! We know we asked you (& posted about it) a million times… sorry about that… but we genuinely couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️

Winning our first ever award means so much to us! Having our charity recognised will help us continue growing, hosting more events and supporting even more animal rescues and rehabilitation centres across WA!!

A huge thank you to the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce for having us and putting on such a fantastic night! Fremantle Chamber of Commerce

On a personal note (hi, it’s Sam writing this… surprise surprise), when I first started Tattoos for Tails, I never imagined we’d be nominated for an award, let alone WIN ONE. It’s so surreal seeing how far we’ve come! 🥹🩷

To Jake Jake Axl | Tattoo Artist, who’s been by my side since the beginning, thank you for being my rock, my biggest supporter and the brains behind so many of our ideas. I couldn’t have done this without you!

And to Hayden HAYDENGAN, thank you for coming on board and believing in our mission. Your enthusiasm, creativity and infectious energy have brought so much to our little dream team!

To every tattoo artist who’s donated their time and talent to Tattoos for Tails, THANK YOU!! I can’t possibly tag everyone, but your love and creativity have helped us make an incredible impact on animal rescues across WA. 🐕✨

We’re so grateful for this community. This award belongs to all of you too!

Lastly, congratulations to all the other winners, especially our wonderful friends at Bosuns Barber Bosuns Barbershop! We couldn’t have asked for better company at our table and we’re so happy we got to celebrate together! 🕺🪩🥂

Here’s to more events, more animals helped and an exciting future for Tattoos for Tails!! 🐾❤️

We have some VERY exciting news… Tattoos for Tails has been named a finalist in the Community Organisation category of the Fremantle Business Awards!! 🥺🐕✨

VOTE HERE: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScOfSkBtLJPtQwzPe2vJaH6vtGzj9jYSZb4JCTYi46aBJwwxg/viewform

We are honestly so grateful to be nominated, let alone chosen to be a finalist but now, we need YOUR help!!

Public voting is open and it’s one vote per person. We’ve put the direct voting link in our bio (and above in this post) which will take you straight to the Community Organisation category, so you don’t have to scroll through everything else!

Winning would mean so much more than just the acknowledgement. As a not-for-profit, every Tattoos for Tails event is currently organised in our team’s spare time, with a lot (if not all) of the costs coming directly from us.

The prize package includes $3,000 worth of valuable marketing support as well as funds which would help us promote future events, reach more people and ultimately create more opportunities to raise money for the rescues and rehabilitation organisations we support!

So, if you’ve ever attended one of our events, got tattooed or dropped off supplies, donated or bought artwork, shared our posts or simply just love what we’re trying to build…WE WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL FOR YOUR VOTE!!!

There’s still time to own a piece of Tattoos for Tails history!! 🐾🎨

Back in April, we held our very first Tattoos for Tails Charity Art Exhibition, where 40 incredible tattoo artists created original artworks to help raise funds for animal charities across WA.

Thanks to our amazing community, we were already able to donate over $20,000 to organisations helping animals in need.

We still have 11 original, one of a kind artworks available to purchase. Every piece comes professionally framed by Angelo St Picture Framers, ready to hang in your home (or gift to the animal lover in your life!).

If we can find homes for these remaining originals, we’ll be able to donate almost $5,000 more to animal charities. Every purchase genuinely makes a difference.

The remaining artworks will support the following incredible organisations:
🐾 The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS)
🐾 Dogs' Refuge Home of WA
🐾 Native ARC Inc.
🐾 9 Lives Cat Rescue Perth
🐾 Protect Ningaloo
🐾 Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre
🐾 HAART
🐾 RSPCA Western Australia
🐾 Animal Protection Society WA

Every artwork has been generously donated by a talented tattoo artist and was created to help animals in need. Whether you’re looking for something special for your own home or searching for the perfect gift for an animal lover, this is your chance to own an original piece while supporting an amazing cause.

Head to the link in our bio to browse the collection before they’re gone! 🐕✨

This community continues to blow us away.

And lastly, thank you to the amazing sponsors who believed in this event and helped us turn a little idea into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We still have a few original artworks available on our website, so hopefully we’ll be able to donate even more once they’ve sold. Shop the remaining original via the L ink in our bio!!

Anywayyyyy… we’re already planning the next one. See you there! 🐾👀
