Rob & I had the privilege of being invited to be part of the Guard of Honour at the WCE v Collingwood game today. It was the Impact Round & celebrated Telethon.
Sadly WCE didn’t get to celebrate a win. 🤷‍♀️

29kms - Glen Forrest Fuel to The Finish Line 🙌
A glorious day that started off at 2 degrees 🥶 & then warmed up nicely.
Rather than walking Green Mount Hill, Rob safely navigated the hill via Darlington & Helena Valley.
With 19kms already walked by midday we had lunch at HJ’s & then Rob squeezed in a massage (yes, you did read that correctly!) as the final 8km was scheduled to start at 3.30pm with the kids & friends. They did end up taking a longer scenic route via the river.
Rob was surprised, overwhelmed & honoured by the number of family, friends & firies that turned up at the finish line especially when there was a guard of honour along with 3 Cheers.

(I was out in my total km calculation by 5kms!)

We had a fantastic turnout at Optus for Rob’s arrival & we are both most thankful.
The Guard of Honour from the SWORD crew was a beautiful touch. 💖
And through continued donor generosity, we hit $65,000! 👏👏👏
