🎯 Shooting for a Cause!

A huge thank you to the Townsville Northern Suburbs Lions Club for choosing to support Angel Flight Australia through their annual Shoot for a Cause clay target shooting event!

The event raised an incredible $6,000 to help Angel Flight continue connecting people in rural and remote communities with essential medical care.

We are so grateful to the Lions Club, event organisers, participants and everyone who contributed to making this fundraiser such a success.

Thank you for making a difference to the lives of rural Australians! 💙

For Annabel, accessing medical treatment means travelling between her hometown of Quilpie and Toowoomba – a journey of approximately 800 kilometres by road each way!

Quilpie is a small outback Queensland town famous for its opals and is home to just a few hundred residents. While life in the outback has its charms, accessing specialist healthcare can mean travelling hundreds of kilometres away from home.

Thankfully, with the help of Angel Flight's wonderful volunteers, Annabel can make the journey without the stress of a long drive.

A huge thank you to our volunteer pilots Frank and Wayne for taking to the skies to help Annabel reach her appointments, and to our Earth Angel Jeff for providing ground transport.

It's thanks to generous volunteers like these that distance doesn't have to be a barrier to accessing vital medical care. ✈

We are honoured to be one of the six charities Giving Machine Queensland continues to support year after year. The impact of the generosity shown by the individuals who get behind the initiative is humbling and our rural friends, who are the recipients are truly grateful. 😇

✈️ A familiar face in the Angel Flight family!

Frequent flyer Erik recently made another journey with Angel Flight, travelling from Mallacoota to Essendon to access specialist medical care.

Along for the journey was Erik’s wife, Ailyn, providing some welcome company and support along the way.

A big thank you to volunteer pilot Paul for getting Erik and Ailyn safely to Melbourne, and to Earth Angel driver Ian for taking care of them on the ground. ✈🚗

✈️ A generous donation for Angel Flight! 💙

A huge thank you to Freemasons SA & NT Parndana Lodge 206 for their incredible $20,000 donation to Angel Flight Australia.

This generous support will help keep our flights to and from Kangaroo Island in the air, connecting rural communities with essential healthcare and helping health professionals reach the Island.

As Angel Flight receives no government funding, community support like this makes an enormous difference.

Thank you to Parndana Lodge 206 and the Kangaroo Island community for helping us keep the wings turning! ✈️

Meet 7-year-old Niyah and her mum, Olivia!

This lovely pair recently travelled with Angel Flight from Port Lincoln to Adelaide, and we were so honoured to be able to lend a helping hand along the way.

For families living in regional Australia, travelling to the city for medical appointments can mean long hours on the road and extra stress at an already difficult time. That’s where our incredible volunteers step in to help make the journey that little bit easier.

A huge thank you to volunteer pilot Michael, who flew Niyah and Olivia to Adelaide and helped make their journey possible ✈
