Bunnings BBQs are a favourite activity of QLD freemasons to raise important funds for local charity organisations supporting people in need. Plus, everyone loves a Saturday morning run to the hardware store!

Our new Team structure allows any group of two or more UGLQ Members to access up to $15,000 in matched giving PLUS for every $5,000 your Team raises, you will unlock a further $5,000 boost on top of this match. In other words, if you raise $15,000 as a Team, your chosen charity could receive up to $45,000 in total. 😮

Our Grand Master takes on the Bridge to Brisbane 🏃🎉

This September, Queensland Grand Master David Gray is gearing up to take on the iconic Gateway Bridge in the 2026 Transurban Bridge to Brisbane in support of Dementia Australia.

It’s a great chance for Members to get behind our Grand Master, whether that’s cheering him on, sponsoring his run, or signing up to join him on the day.

Hand Heart Pocket is proud to recognise National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day, a national celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their voices, stories, families, cultures and communities.

This year's theme - Living Our Truth - honours the power of truth-telling, the sharing of knowledge across generations, and telling stories in ways that celebrate and empower First Nations identities and communities.

We'd particularly like to acknowledge our partners who do invaluable work to support our First Nations young people, including QATSICPP, Yiliyapinya Indigenous Corporation, Stars Foundation, Cowboys Community Foundation and CQID.

Happy National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day you mob! 🎉🙌
