We have some of our youth members live on the air for (Jamboree On The Air) we have been talking to other Scout Groups and Girl Guide Groups across Australia! The BBQ will be fired up and sausage sandwiches will be ready to go soon here at the Spring Festival on Wharf St, Forster. Come down for the day and take a look at what’s going on. Loads of market stalls and businesses open.

What a day we have had! Thankyou to the public for coming down to our open day today at the hall. Shout Out to Alison Penfold MP for Lyne, MidCoast Council mayor Claire Pontin, Alex and his Wife from On Time Painting Manning,the members of Forster Tuncurry Lions Club & members of Forster Tuncurry R.S.L Sub-Branch for coming down today, it was wonderful to see other community organisations come and celebrate with us. We were also super excited to see some of our old leaders; Brumby, Stinger, Python, Baloo & Buralga visit us. Our Region & District commissioners attending today Thankyou for all travelling to spend the time celebrating with us.

Our leaders would love to thank our Youth Members, Adult Helpers and Youth Parents. The trust you put in us to look after your children & teach them about scouting means a lot to us. We look forward to many many more years of scouting in the 1st Forster-Tuncurry Scout Group.

As many of you know our handmade fire pit previously created and donated by one of our amazing scouting families was stolen.

A big thank you to Alex from On time painting for their generous donation of a new fire pit to our Scout Group.

Campfires are an integral part of the Scouting experience, bringing our young people together for fun, friendship, learning and reflection.

Thanks to Alex’s kindness and support, we can continue creating those memorable moments for our Scouts. We are incredibly grateful for his community spirit and generosity. Thank you for helping keep the Scouting adventure alive and thriving for our youth.

This is a super serious notice the community.

To the sneaky individuals who thought our custom-made fire pit from behind our hall was a freebie, could you please return it? It was kindly donated by a parent and we use it for s'more-making educational activities and social gatherings that aren't just an excuse for us to play with fire.

We know with its weight that it's a two-person lift, so grab a mate and let's get this pit back home. Return it during the day, night, or whenever - we won't ask questions, promise. We just want to keep our young scouts warm and happy.
