Our Mother's Day afternoon tea at Forrest Beach was a huge success.
We had an abundance of food, no surprise there, we are QCWA.
There was an array of sweets - scones with jam and cream, chocolate cake, jam tarts, apple turnovers, melting moments and a variety of cupcakes, then came the savoury - mini quiches, vege slice, and quite the selection of sandwiches. The Mother's of Forrest Beach came and enjoyed the selection of yummy food, laughed with friends, danced and just had fun. It was a good vibes afternoon tea.

It was a fantastic morning at Forrest Beach for version 2 of Australia Day celebrations. A free sausage sizzle, free soft drinks and a delicious Lamington made by the amazing CWA ladies of Forrest Beach. There was thong throwing for the children, broom throwing for the ladies and the gents got to throw a shovel. All good fun with plenty of laughs.
