🏔️Chalet for the Snow⛷️
Recently, Emily and old fogie Daniel went down to the Bogong Rover Chalet for a week of cross-country skiing. Together with some friends from Platabeen Rovers, plus a whole bunch of new ones, it was a great time all around.

We went to the snow.

We went to the snow with a lot of our good friends from around the Sydney North Region and had a lot of fun playing and skiing and falling over.

Bunglers bungling in the 'Bungles.
The ever-present draw of the Warrumbungles whispered to Forest Rovers this past long weekend, and a heroic party was sent to explore.
We went on the Grand High Tops walk (yes, the shoes were named after this!), and saw Belougery Spire and the Breadknife. (yes, the knife was named after this!)
A trip to the famous Siding Springs Observatory was also observed, inspiring us to try out our own astrophotography on the cold, dark nights we had there.

This week at Rovers we had the birthdays of Rhyse & Emily, so we decided to celebrate with some Korean BBQ goodness 😋

Part 2 - How did our talented gamblers go?

Well, I can safely say we all have much lighter pockets after the slot machine took all our 20c pieces, and Ollie even got a new car! I'm not sure it's much of a reliability upgrade over his Prado, though.

We had our grubby mitts all over Sleep Point 6 at Scout Hike this past weekend, with members of Forest taking up roles on Sleep Point (including Emily in the lead!) as well as running a great activity base for the nameless and faceless Scouts. (Thanks L.J.B. for leading the Escape the Social Media Ban activity!)
