Skills Clinic - for ages 8–16 and and

Education Course - for anyone aged 14 and above who is an age manager, parent helper, aspiring or current youth coach, and PE teacher.



Skills Clinic

This clinic is all about building skills and learning the right technique from the start. Our coaches will make sure everyone has a fun and enjoyable experience while focusing on the fundamentals that help athletes improve.

Whether you are a beginner or at a state level, good technique is the key to improving your performance.



ITLAS Education Course

We invite all age managers, parent helpers, aspiring or current youth coaches, and PE teachers to take advantage of this professional development opportunity and contribute to the continued growth and success of athletics within their community.

We are pleased to offer a complimentary course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to coach, officiate, or volunteer at local Athletics Clubs and School Carnivals.

This course is an excellent opportunity to build confidence, enhance your understanding of athletics events, and contribute positively to the development of young athletes within your community.

We are so excited to have been successful in securing funding through the Active Kids Grant to go towards training equipment for our club to benefit our athletes! 👏🏼

🏅 Great news for local sport across the Orange Electorate!

Two local clubs have secured funding through the 2026 Active Kids Grant Program:

✅ Orange United Sports Club – $2,930 for uniforms
✅ Forbes Little Athletics – $3,430.67 for equipment

Congratulations to both clubs and their dedicated volunteers. This funding will help support participation, reduce costs for families and provide better opportunities for local young athletes. 👏⚽🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Forbes Little Athletics Presentation Evening

On 17th March, Forbes Little Athletics came together to celebrate the conclusion of a fantastic season. We extend our sincere thanks to Club Forbes for hosting the evening — it was wonderful to see the auditorium filled with our athletes and their families.

From our State Representatives through to our Tiny Tots, including Age Champions, Most Improved athletes and Major Award recipients, every participant should be extremely proud of their efforts this season. Beyond the results, it has been a year defined by friendships formed, skills developed, and a shared enjoyment of athletics.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our valued sponsors for their ongoing support. Their contributions have enabled us to update resources and keep participation affordable for our local athletes. We gratefully recognise:

Day 2 a Little Athletics NSW State Championships.

Well done to Mac, Ella, Ava, Holly, Thomas, Matilda, Ethan and Madison who competed today. There were lots of PB’s laid down in tricky conditions 🌧️ ☀️

This rounds out a fantastic weekend for our athletes representing Forbes with pride. It’s no small feat for our regional/rural athletes to take the stage. The travel, the commitment of families and the mum/dad’s who end up being coaches (and everything else in between), you should all be so proud of all your experiences this weekend. The effort you had put in to just get here is amazing.

Well done to our top 10
Finishers. Thomas Leslie who finished 9th in the 11’s 400m, and Madi West for making the top 8, finishing 7th in the 11’s Shot Put.
