Big thank you to our Coaching Coordinator Greg Ridge and our senior athlete Max Ridge who have been busy on Wednesday afternoons sharing their knowledge with our younger athletes.

Botanical Gardens have been a hive of activity with many Athletes busy practicing and preparing for upcoming school representation, or just getting ready for the approaching season.

🎉 WE ARE SO EXCITED TO BE HOSTING WESTERN PLAINS ZONE! 🎉

Parkes and District Athletics Centre is proud to be hosting the Western Plains Zone right here in Parkes! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

📅 31st October – 1st November
📍 Northparkes Oval

This is such an exciting opportunity for our local athletes. Instead of travelling away to compete, our athletes will have the chance to take on competitors from across the Western Plains right here in our own town!

We can’t wait to welcome athletes, families and supporters to Parkes for what is sure to be an exciting weekend of athletics, competition and plenty of fun!

We are incredibly proud to be able to host this event and give our athletes the opportunity to compete on their home track. 💙

We've worked hard to absorb rising costs so that Forbes Athletics remains an affordable and accessible sport for families in our community.

2026/2027 Membership Fees
👶 Tiny Tots – $80
🏃 Junior Membership (U6–U20) – $110
⭐ Open Membership – $150
♿ Para Athletes – Please contact the club for your registration code.

Our Forbes Club athletes had a great time at the Orange Skills Clinic hosted by NSW Athletics today!

Many new skills learnt, new friends made and a great day out on the track and field!
