The purpose of the Footscray Traders Association is to represent retail and commercial businesses throughout Footscray, and promote Footscray as a great place to trade, shop and live. How do we do this?
- By communicating with Council or Government as a representative body,
- By promoting Footscray businesses to the local and wider community,
- By facilitating connections between Footscray Traders

- By the sharing of information. Benefits of Membership
- Advocacy: The Footscray Traders Association gives a public voice and acts to protect the well- being of the Footscray business community as a whole. A stronger Footscray helps everybody.
- Promotion: Members will be listed and promoted on our website directory and online using social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter & Google.
- Networking Events: Networking opportunities will be offered to give Members an invaluable chance to connect, create relationships and strengthen ties.
- Information/News: Becoming a member will give timely access to local news or developments, including Council decision making.
- Become a Committee Member: Any paid Member may apply to be on the Committee and elections are held annually. Footscray Traders Association membership is open to anyone with an ABN doing business in the 3011 postcode area. Our friends at MR WEST BAR & BOTTLE SHOP have partnered with Broadsheet Melbourne for the Dine Out festival to bring you an Indonesian Street Party this Sunday, July 26th! 🇮🇩🔥

They’re teaming up with chef Wahyu “Tio” Prasetyo and Natasha Iodice from the Satu Jiwa pop-up for a charcoal grill takeover upstairs—serving up smoky, spicy West Sumatran dishes, oysters, grilled scallops, and dessert. 🍢🦪✨

Indonesian DJs will be spinning tunes all afternoon and evening to keep the vibes high. 🎶
