We’ve spent the past 48 hours in Parliament speaking directly to MPs and Senators about what’s at stake. Here’s a snapshot of some of our meetings.

Taking away work rights and weakening appeal rights would push people into poverty, increase exploitation and leave families in deeper uncertainty.

The work isn’t done. We’ll keep the pressure up. There’s too much at stake.

Every few months, she is forced to re-apply for a temporary visa, leaving her in constant limbo in the country she calls home.

We headed to Julian Hill MP's electorate of Bruce to ask locals what they think of Labor's reported changes to our humanitarian system.

Reports suggest people seeking asylum could lose their work rights and appeal rights. These policies would have a devastating impact in diverse electorates like Bruce, where migrants and refugees have become pillars of the community.

With Labor expected to announce these changes any day now, we need to act fast.
