We are incredibly proud to have hosted a truly impactful International Women’s Day event at Parliament, bringing together leaders, changemakers, and inspiring voices to drive meaningful social and economic impact. 💜

This event was more than just a celebration, it was a powerful platform to highlight success stories, break barriers, and create opportunities for women in leadership, business, and the workforce. Today, on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we reflect on the critical need to address and prevent violence that continues to impact women and girls globally. This issue remains one of the most widespread violations of human rights, affecting countless lives in ways that are physical, emotional, and psychological.

At MCS, we are committed to being part of the solution. Through our work, we actively support and empower women to overcome barriers, build confidence, and regain control of their lives. Our services are designed to provide culturally sensitive, holistic support tailored to each individual’s needs, helping them navigate pathways to safety, stability, and independence.

But we know prevention is just as important. That’s why we also focus on creating awareness, addressing harmful behaviours, and fostering a culture of respect and equality within our communities. By working with businesses, government, and local organizations, we aim to build systems that not only protect survivors but also drive lasting change to stop violence before it starts.

Every action matters. Together, we can create a world where women and girls can live without fear, thrive with confidence, and feel empowered to shape their futures.
