Another tragedy
Another domestic violence death.
And absolutely disgusting comments I have personally read on other post.
Why was she at his house, She can’t of been to scared
Wrote one.
If she wasn’t at his address, She would still be alive, Wrote another.
Let me educate these uneducated comments.
When we are in the depths of a domestic violence relationship it does not automatically mean we stop loving the perpetrator, Regardless of gender.
Trauma Bond is a real thing it exists.
How a trauma bond works.
The Cycle and Cause Intermittent Reinforcement:
The abuser alternates between cruelty, anger, or neglect and moments of intense love, regret, or kindness.
Brain chemistry: The highs and lows release dopamine and cortisol, which trick the brain into craving the next period of relief, overriding logical choices.
Power imbalance: The abuser holds control, leaving the target walking on eggshells and hyper-focused on keeping the peace.
I speak on my own domestic violence journey.
I loved my abuser once I was finally free, It took me a few years for that love to stop.
Not only was I grieving the horrific abuse I had endured but I was also grieving the loss of my relationship.
Perpetrators do not start the relationship abusing their partners.
Secondly there could be a number of reasons the victim was at the alleged perpetrators home.
He took her there against her will.
He had something that belonged to her for example a pet.
There could be multiple reasons, Regardless it does not give him a reason to kill her.
End of story.
RIP Beautiful Angel 🖤
