Looking for some more music on the Peninsula? Our friends at Lyster Opera have a performance coming up of Orpheus & Eurydice in Rye. Tickets here: https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1495265

This image captures the sheer beauty of Blair Parkinson’s evocative sets and props, Maddy Connellan’s striking costumes and Daniel Sinfield’s atmospheric lighting for our production of Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice. And the overwhelming joy a great cast brings to the opera.

We open Saturday week at Rye Civic Hall, before travelling on to Geelong, Milawa, Castlemaine, Creswick, South Yarra and Moe.
With Pamela Christie leading a superb cast and an 8-piece chamber orchestra, this is a richly immersive operatic experience — and one not to be missed.

Although PSMF26 has officially finished, we’re still revelling in the joy of the performances! Here, Festival Artists: Ensemble Offspring performed 2 concerts at the lovely Main Ridge Estate. The first as part of a delicious lunch, and the second evening concert looking over the vineyard! A program full of Australian women composers, and we even had the parents of one of the composers turn up!!

Our annual event at Willum Warrain was a beautiful occasion this year. Bringing Ensemble Offspring back to perform Every Plant Has Its Own Dreaming was a wonderful experience. This project is directly inspired by Willum Warrain and Uncle Peter Aldenhoven and their bush nursery. Beautiful music making at a very special place.

We're so grateful for the support for this project from Community Bank Balnarring and Creative Australia

We spent the morning yesterday with Ensemble Offspring and PSMF Director Melissa Doecke learning about the indigenous plant life at Willum Warrain! We sang, we drew and we heard the amazing music of ‘Every Plant Has It’s Own Dreaming’ by Aaron Wyatt. Thanks to Creative Australia & Community Bank Balnarring for their support
