What a fantastic turnout for the 2026 Fairfax Seniors Forum! 👏

RangeCare was proud to once again partner with Ted O'Brien MP - Federal Member for Fairfax to deliver this valuable community event at the Imperial Hotel, Eumundi, on 8 October 2026.

With over 120 people in attendance, the forum provided practical information and expert insights to help seniors make informed decisions about legal, financial and aged care matters.

RangeCare is seeking a Casual Kitchen Assistant to provide leave coverage and support our kitchen team in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our clients.

• Assist with food preparation including chopping, slicing and washing ingredients
• Maintain high food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean and sanitise dishes, utensils and food preparation areas
• Support the Kitchen Co-ordinator with day-to-day kitchen operations

• Bulk cooking experience
• Flexibility to provide leave coverage
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A positive, can-do attitude and a sense of fun

🫖💜 High Tea Fundraiser for Dementia Awareness 💜🫖

Did you know? An estimated 439,000 Australians are currently living with dementia, and this number is projected to grow to almost 1.1 million by 2066. Dementia is one of Australia's greatest health and aged care challenges.

On 22 September, RangeCare proudly hosted a special High Tea fundraiser in support of Dementia Awareness Week.

Guests enjoyed a beautiful high tea experience while hearing from our guest speaker, Jodi from Wellways, who spoke about dementia and the support services available to carers of people living with dementia. Thank you, Jodi, for sharing your insights on "Caring for the Carer" and helping raise awareness of this important issue.

The afternoon also featured raffles with some wonderful prizes generously donated by The Ginger Factory, Maleny Cheese Factory, Fairhill Native Botanic Gardens, Sunshine Mitre 10, Footzies, Blind Date With a Book, and Nambour RSL Club helping make the event even more memorable for our guests.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped raise awareness. Together, we're creating a more informed, supportive, and dementia-friendly community.

📸✨ Celebrating Our Fond Memories Runner-Up Winners! ✨📸

Over July and August, we invited our clients, team members, families, volunteers, and community members to share their treasured RangeCare memories as part of our 40 Years of Caring celebrations.

We were truly overwhelmed by the incredible response and touched by the many heartfelt stories, special moments, and cherished memories shared with us. Choosing our winners was no easy task!

Today, we're delighted to congratulate our Fond Memories Campaign runner-up winners: 🎉 Margaret (Margo), Jennifer, Katrina, Michael, and Claire. Each received a wonderful gift basket or prize from a local Sunshine Coast or Gympie business.
